EnviroChemie designed the wastewater treatment concept for the customer's new production facility in Berlin, which specialises in the manufacturing of lithography systems, with the goal of lowering the levels of substances such as metals and hydrocarbons in the wastewater by a factor of 5 to 10.

The customer wishes to concentrate solely on production, which is why EnviroChemie will operate the wastewater treatment plant for them.

In addition to the planning and construction of the physico-chemical treatment plant, Split-O-Mat® SOM 300 F, EnviroChemie will operate the plant and provide a 24/7 on-call service as well.
EnviroChemie’s digital platform WaterExpert™ is used to ensure state-of-the-art plant operation. This turns principles of Water 4.0 into reality. A digital mirror of the wastewater treatment plant facilitates plant operation via:
- Recording online and offline parameters (e.g. lab results, pH value, turbidity)
- Displaying plant and process-specific KPIs
- Using QR codes for quick and easy spare parts management
- Customer-specific reports (management reports, reports for the authorities)
- Defined plant tours and to-do lists
- Documentation of activities / digital operations diary
- Access to the library (knowledge database)
- Remote access to the plant by EnviroChemie technicians

The customers receives one dedicated contact for all matters on the wastewater treatment solution and its operation, including industrial treatment products. This allows the customer to deploy its personnel in production operations, thereby combating the shortage of specialist staff.

At the same time, the solution ensures that the plant is operated safely, efficiently and in a legally compliant way by employees of a specialist company.

The digitalised plant means that its operation is also transparent for the customer (management, water protection officer and other contact partners). By using WaterExpert™, the customer has quick and easy access to information such a management reports, reports for the authorities and the plant's primary KPIs.
