Ibrahim Fibres Limited manufactures polyesters and textiles and runs several electricity plants in Faisalabad, Pakistan. Production capacity has risen continuously in recent years leading to an increase in the process water requirement.
Saline water is available at the manufacturing facility from several springs. But this untreated water does not comply with Ibrahim Fibres Ltd.’s quality requirements for use in its various production processes. The water must be filtered, desalinated and degassed to make it suitable for use. Requirements are at their most stringent for the boiler feed water.
Over the years, EnviroChemie GmbH has supplied several modular water treatment plants. Of particular interest here is that the functional units required for the process technology such as pumps, blowers, dosing stations, membrane plants and valve manifolds are preassembled in secure frames in Germany at EnviroChemie GmbH’s manufacturing plant. Large containers which could not be integrated into a functional unit were supplied separately.
