At the start of 2025, EnviroChemie took over operation of wastewater treatment for a German pharmaceutical company. Before the takeover, the client had been in constant contact with three or four different service providers to operate the system. Now they have streamlined the number of interfaces with just one partner for all tasks related to water treatment – a maximum increase in effectiveness and efficiency. The work involved in organisation has been drastically reduced.
At the heart of the wastewater treatment is a neutralisation system that treats 155,000 m³ of wastewater treatment per year. Trained experts from EnviroChemie support the system with process technology and operate it on site using the digital service platform WaterExpert. The production management includes aspects such as hazard analysis, a 24/7 on-call service, spare parts management, support with reporting, work on the pump station in the infeed, optimising fill level measurement, and inspections.
The pharmaceutical company can now concentrate fully on the production processes. EnviroChemie ensures that the wastewater treatment operates reliably while adhering to the required limit values.
