The State Command of Hesse coordinates military disaster relief in the federal state of Hesse and is the first point of contact for questions regarding possible support from the German Armed Forces in the event of natural disasters, serious accidents or within the framework of administrative assistance and disaster relief.
By entering into this partnership, EnviroChemie GmbH in Roßdorf agrees to regularly grant leave for reserve duty to reservists, as well as to employees who register voluntarily. The company will support the reserve service in Hesse and contribute to the development of an integrated security plan.
As part of their homeland security role, reserve forces support active units and departments, including assisting in relief efforts following natural disasters and major accidents. In the event of hostilities or a defence situation, they support the protection of critical infrastructure and Host Nation Support (NATO forces) and enhance the sustainability of active forces.
