The Austrian energy producer and environmental service provider has been operating a physico-chemical treatment plant for several years now to treat wastewater generated from flue gas cleaning. EnviroChemie has been tasked with identifying ways to improve the operating efficiency of the water treatment technology. The goal is to make wastewater treatment more resource-efficient and reduce operating costs.
With its EnviCheck service for water plants, EnviroChemie analyses existing wastewater treatment data, scrutinises the treatment process, evaluates water treatment product consumption and plant technology, and compares the plant’s efficiency against benchmark values. If necessary, EnviroChemie can determine treatment parameters for customers in its own laboratories and technical centre.
Following the analysis, the customer receives a report detailing potential optimisation strategies, which may include adjusting plant technology parameters, switching to more effective water treatment products or modifying the plant technology. EnviroChemie’s specialists can also assist in implementing the recommended plant modifications and changes as required.
