Rossdorf, 12.06.19 SUEK relies on modular water technology by EnviroChemie for its Kirova mine EnviroChemie is building a modular EnviModul water treatment plant for the treatment of mine water at the Kirova underground mine for SUEK, Russia's largest coal producer. EnviroChemie plant technology allows more than half of the treated water to be reused as process water for mining operations. The remaining water is purified to local sanitary standards and discharged into natural waters. EnviroChemie has developed EnviModul plant modules in several sizes for SUEK, and these can be used variably to suit local requirements. EnviroChemie has already built and commissioned modular water treatment plants at three SUEK sites. The new water treatment plant at the Kirova Mine consists of three plant blocks with eight modules each. Each plant block has a capacity of 400 cubic metres of mine water per hour. The plant modules are preassembled by EnviroChemie at the German site in Rossdorf, in the Rhine-Main region. Following customer acceptance, delivery of the new plant is scheduled for the second half of 2019.   Photo: The modular EnviModul water treatment plants are available in various sizes and can be used in a variety of ways.
