Dr. Jörg Krause appointed new Managing Director of Envirochemie GmbH
Dr. Jörg Krause joined the Management Board of Envirochemie GmbH on 1 February 2017. He has been appointed CEO with responsibility for Operation Management and Customer Service, as well as Research & Development, at the engineering company specializing in industrial water technology.
Dr. Jörg Krause, 55 years old, is a graduate engineer with broad management experience. After working at Alstom, ABB and Voith Industrial Services, he was most recently responsible for industrial engineering at Vinci. His knowledge of industrial services, especially in the fields of automation technology and electrical engineering, is extensive.
Dr. Jörg Krause’s colleagues on the Management team at Envirochemie include Dr. Volker Oles, responsible for Plant Engineering, Stefan Letschert, responsible for all Commercial functions, Peter Leyendecker, responsible for subsidiaries EnviroFALK and EnviroDTS, and Dr. Gerd Sagawe, responsible for Water Chemistry, Strategic Business Development, PR and HR.
Envirochemie GmbH has been a partner for industrial water treatment for 40 years. The water experts advise, plan and build customized plants for treating process, circulation, cooling and waste water. The company offers an extensive portfolio of services focusing on the technical plants, ranging from maintenance to plant optimization, from the supply of operating materials that are produced in house to operation management models.
Envirochemie GmbH is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SKion GmbH, a holding company belonging to businesswoman Susanne Klatten. In the last few years, SKion has built up a portfolio of participating interests in the field of water technology, and intends to extend this commitment further.
