Roßdorf, 18/11/16 Strong demand from Russia for EnviroChemie water technology In 2016, EnviroChemie has once again registered healthy demand from Russia for industrial water and wastewater treatment plants. A large portion of the Hesse-based company’s business traditionally comes from Russia, and, in fact, for almost 15 years the project business has been supported by a Russian subsidiary in Yekaterinburg. “In contrast to 2014 and 2015, which saw declining Russian sales, in 2016 we started taking more orders for installations,” said Dr. Voker Oles, general manager of plant engineering for EnviroChemie. Their orders for wastewater treatment plants predominantly come from the food industry – from international brand-name manufacturers, national manufacturers and food retailers. It’s important for industry customers that their plant technology is “Made in Germany” – and that local EnviroChemie contacts are available on the ground. The Biomar technology of biological wastewater treatment is licensable and approved for the Russian market. This is naturally very important for Russian customers. In addition to this, planning is carried out locally, by the Russian EnviroChemie subsidiary. Last but not least, the offer is rounded out by a substantially extended service offer.
